Cabinet Refinishing Process
Step 1 – Degrease and wash cabinets to remove any possible contaminates.
Step 2- Sand cabinets followed by vacuuming/ tack clothing to remove and sanding dust or debris.
Step 3- Caulk and fill holes on the outside of cabinet drawers, doors, moldings on boxes where needed.
Step 4- Prime cabinets with the appropriate primer to bond with existing finish (shellac/hybrid/undercoater). Followed by a light sand once dry.
Step 5- Apply first top coat of finish material followed by a visual inspection and a light sanding once dry.
Step 6- Apply final finish coat (water-based lacquer/urethane/epoxy).
