My wife Monica and I are lifelong residents of the Central Valley and the founders of Sequoia Painting, LLC. I’m Joshua, I grew up in the painting industry, and started learning the trade as a teenager. My father taught me through years of hands on experience, to take pride in my workmanship, he helped develop a strong work ethic as well as the skill I needed to create a painting business of my own. Though I followed a different career path for many years, I regularly maintained and upgraded my skills and knowledge of the industry. There is a difference between working a job and living your passion. The opportunity I had been waiting for came to us in 2018, Monica and I are moving mountains to bring the best caliber work to you and yours. Work is no longer a chore, it is what I love to do.

We guarantee your protection! We maintain $2 million in liability insurance and a $1 million workers compensation policy. If any property damage, serious injury, or accidental death were to occur on your property, you are completely covered and have no liability.

The visionaries
Monica Joosten
Monica has been a lifelong Valley resident. She earned her Master’s Degree in Nursing and is currently employed as a Family Nurse Practitioner at a local practice. Monica worked for valley area hospitals for the first several years of her nursing career, enjoying serving her community as she did so. Having watched her husband in the painting industry over the years, she has enjoyed seeing the happiness brought to customers as Joshua works with each and every one of them. Monica is married to Joshua and together with their family, they enjoy various activities…including visiting Disneyland quite often! Disney fanatics they are! Monica enjoys the hobby of running and has done a half marathon from time to time. Monica and her family love to travel and are excited about venturing out to new places each time. It is with great joy and excitement that Monica, together with her husband Joshua launch Sequoia Paining here in the Valley to serve all those in the valley and surrounding areas. Excited about the future for Sequoia Painting, they look forward to working with each and every one of you all and developing forever friendships!!
Joshua Joosten
Joshua has been a lifelong Central Valley resident. Having grown up in the painting industry, he is a third generation painter. Though Joshua followed a different career path for many years, he regularly maintained and upgraded his skills and knowledge of the industry. If you were to ask Joshua he would tell you that he has indeed learned the difference between working a job and living your passion, he is now living his passion. An opportunity arose in 2018 in where they together were able to bring his dream to fruition. In 2019, Sequoia Painting LLC was born and now, work is no longer a chore for Joshua, it is what he loves to do. Today Joshua is the Operations Manager of the Company in which he enjoys every day seeing his dream come to reality.
