Founded by lifelong Central Valley residents Joshua and Monica, Sequoia Painting, LLC was built on a foundation of generational painting expertise. Joshua learned the trade from his father, developing a strong work ethic and a commitment to exceptional workmanship.
In 2021, our leadership expanded with the addition of Cody as Chief of Operations, further enhancing our project delivery and client satisfaction. Since 2018, we’ve been dedicated to providing high-quality interior and exterior painting for businesses and homes in Visalia, CA, and surrounding communities.

The Founders
Joshua Joosten
Joshua is a lifelong Central Valley resident and a third-generation painter. Although he pursued a different career path for many years, he always maintained and expanded his skills in the painting industry.
Joshua believes there is a difference between working a job and living your passion – and today, he is living his passion. In 2018, an opportunity arose for him and his family to bring his dream to life. By 2019, Sequoia Painting, LLC was founded.
Now, as the Operations Manager, Joshua finds joy in his work every day, watching his vision for Sequoia Painting, LLC become a reality.
Monica Joosten
Monica is a lifelong Central Valley resident. She earned her Master’s Degree in Nursing and currently works as a Family Nurse Practitioner at a local practice. Earlier in her career, she served patients at several Valley hospitals, where she enjoyed giving back to her community.
Over the years, Monica has watched her husband, Joshua, build his career in the painting industry and has loved seeing the happiness he brings to his customers. Married to Joshua, they share a passion for family adventures, especially their frequent trips to Disneyland – they’re true Disney fanatics. Monica also enjoys running and has completed several half marathons. She and her family love to travel and look forward to exploring new places together.
With great excitement, Monica and Joshua launched Sequoia Painting, LLC to serve the Valley and surrounding areas. They look forward to working with each of you and building lasting relationships along the way.
